Among the requirements for the Eagle Scout rank, Scouts must complete a leadership service project while serving as a Life Scout and before they attain the age of 18. The project must be planned, developed, and performed for a religious, school, or community organization. It should be of significant magnitude to be special and should represent the Scout’s best effort.
The variety of projects performed by Eagle Scouts is staggering. Ideas and opportunities are available in many areas. For a few of the projects that were performed by Troop 1 scouts, please click on the links below.
Kevin Barr’s Eagle Scout Project: Constructing Benches for the Newman Center at the University of Hawaii
Matt Sasaki’s Eagle Scout Project: Trail Building at Lyon Arboretum
Riley Masunaga’s Eagle Scout Project: Painting the Honolulu Zoo elephant enclosure
Note: Any Troop 1 Eagles who would like to add their projects to this list please let us know.. We only had a few pictures in the general file and are limited in what we can show right now. With your help, we would love to grow this section of the website.
